Monterrey
Estadio BBVA · FIFA: Estadio Monterrey · Cap. 51,348
Modern, business-first, hot as hell in June (40°C+). The stadium is gorgeous — designed around mountain views. Cabrito (kid goat) is the local obsession.
The Stadium
Estadio BBVA, currently known as Estadio Monterrey for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, and formerly known as Estadio BBVA Bancomer, is an association football stadium located in Guadalupe, Nuevo León, Mexico. Dubbed "El Gigante de Acero", it replaced the Estadio Tecnológico as the home of C.F. Monterrey, ending the club's 63-year tenure at that venue. Its name is branded after the BBVA Spanish bank, and specifically its Mexican branch BBVA Mexico.
